Frequently asked questions

Black Friday will be on Friday 29 November 2024, with Cyber Monday on Monday 2 December 2024. Watch this space for Three’s epic Black Friday deals.

Black Friday's the name of the Friday following Thanksgiving in the USA. It's a day where retailers offer big sales on their products. They often open earlier and close later too. Amazon introduced Black Friday sales in 2010 and since then it's become more popular across the UK.

There are lots of explanations on how Black Friday got its name. Most refer to the Friday after Thanksgiving in the USA. Some say the name came from the heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic that happens on the day. And others say that it was because of the increase in workers calling in sick to get a 4-day weekend. But now, it's more commonly associated with big sales and offers.

Black Friday normally officially ends at midnight on Black Friday itself. But some offers may continue over the weekend and into Cyber Monday, which is the Monday immediately following Black Friday.

Our Black Friday deals will be back in November 2024. In the meantime, you can view all of our current offers on our latest offers page

Cyber Monday happens on the Monday after Black Friday. Although Black Friday deals are now available online, it started out as an in-store promotion and Cyber Monday was created to encourage people to buy deals online too.
