Apps made easier: ‘Three likes’ on Nokia.

The world of apps can be a confusing place. There are thousands of them to choose from. So, where do you start?

A new, free service from Three is making it easier for people with Nokia smartphones (the E7, C7, N8 and X7 models) to find really useful apps that appeal just to them.

It’s called ‘Three likes’ and it can be found at the Nokia Store, which used to be known as Ovi Store. When you visit it on your phone, on the home screen, you’ll see a tab called ‘Three likes’.

When you press ‘Three likes’ you’ll be taken to a list of recommendations from the app experts at Three. They’ve done all the hard work for you by cherry picking from the best apps that the Nokia Store has to offer – and putting all these recommendations in one place.

Don’t spend too much on apps.

As well as being concerned about finding the right apps, lots of us are worried about spending too much money on them.

Some apps are free, but some are paid for - you often have to enter card details to pay for apps, with the cost being deducted from your bank account.

With Three likes, it’s easy to see what you’re spending.

If you’re a Pay Monthly customer, you can choose to have your app purchases added to your bill, where they’ll be listed at the end of the month. And if you’re on Pay As You Go, any app purchases will be taken from your top-up credit. You’ll also get an email confirming what you’ve bought.

All this means Three likes makes it easier to track how much you’re spending and how you pay for apps.

So there’s peace of mind as well as some brilliant apps to discover.
