How to use ThreePay

Choose your content or service

Tap ThreePay or pay by mobile

You’ll then see the payment screen and the details of your purchase, including the item, cost, and merchant’s name. If you’ve bought a subscription, you’ll also see how often you’ll be charged. 

2-step payment

Enter your mobile number on the payment screen. You’ll then get a text with a PIN. Enter the PIN to confirm your purchase.

Confirmation

You’ll see a confirmation screen and then be taken to the merchant site. You’ll also get a confirmation text. It’ll include information on how to stop subscriptions and any support numbers you may need.

You can also pay for apps and some subscriptions from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Yes, there’s a limit of £40 per transaction and £240 a month. These limits are set by European Legislation and cannot be amended. If you’re a new Three customer, your limit may be lower for the first few months.

If you’ve signed up for a subscription service, you’ll get regular text receipts with instructions on how to stop it. This is usually done by contacting the merchant or payment intermediary directly or by logging into the account you hold with them.

Use the merchant or payment intermediary contact details from your confirmation text or monthly bill.  You can also find their contact details using our ThreePay and shortcode checker. They have up to 10 days to respond to your query. If they don’t respond or you’re unhappy with their response, please get in touch with us and we’ll do our best to help.
