Samsung Z Flip5 vs Flip4 – how do they compare?

One of the best features of the new Galaxy Z Flip5 is the cover screen. When the phone is folded you get a 3.4in display – the biggest cover screen yet. It delivers 1080p image resolution –double the pixels of 720p standard HD screens – to give an even more enhanced image quality.

The display is Super AMOLED and the Flip5 is Dynamic AMOLED. Dynamic AMOLED offers several advantages over Super AMOLED, including better contrast, improved colour accuracy, and reduced blue light emission

The Galaxy Z Flip5 and Flip4 both have a dual rear camera system made up of a 12MP wide camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, with a digital zoom up to 10x​. Nightography is available on both phones, but thanks to the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, it’s improved on the Galaxy Z Flip5. That new processor also makes for smoother videos and more detailed images.

Both the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Flip5 have a 10MP front-facing camera, with FlexCam. This offers a versatile, hands-free camera experience. So, you can capture group shots, selfies, and videos from new and innovative perspectives.

And both models have an IPX8 water resistance rating. That means they can survive 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.
