Got an old phone lying around somewhere? A tablet that’s collecting dust? A smartwatch lying in the back of a drawer? 

Your old devices could be worth money. And we’ve just revamped our trade-in offers. It’s now easier than ever before to put the money you get from trading in straight towards a new device – and to get an amazing deal.

Now, when you go browsing for a new phone or other devices, you’ll see an option to get a trade-in quote when you checkout.

You’ll need to enter your device’s IMEI number – here’s how you can find your IMEI. 

As well as that, you’ll need to grade your device’s condition so we can estimate its value.

You’ll get two quotes now. One that shows you how much straight cash you’d get for your device. The other shows you how much you’d save if you used your trade-in value to reduce the cost of your new device.

And we’ll have special promotions where you can get extra trade-in savings when buying selected phones. 

If you want to accept your deal, just complete checkout online. You’ll then get an email from us with instructions on how to send your old device to us. 

You’ll need to make sure you wipe your phone of your data and reset it to its factory settings.

It’s free to send your device in the post. You can either print off a freepost label or request a freepost pack to be sent to you.

It usually takes a couple of days for us to check your device. Once everything is approved, your savings will be automatically applied to your bill.. 

That’s fine. Once you have your quote, you can choose to just accept the cash and have it paid to an account of your choice.

The process for sending in your phone is the same as mentioned above. Once your device is approved, we’ll email you a confirmation and you’ll get your payment on the same day.

When you get your trade-in quote, you’ll be asked to grade the condition of your device.

Make sure you read the category descriptions very carefully and grade your device accurately.

If your device arrives with us and our technicians think it belongs in a lower grade, then you’ll receive a new quote from us.

You don’t have to accept the new quote if you don’t want to – we’ll return the phone free of charge. 

If you accept, then we’ll continue to process your money or your savings as normal.

You might be surprised. We’ll offer a trade-in quote for almost any device providing it’s not been crushed and you can still access the software.

And if it isn’t worth much or anything, you can always recycle it instead.
