Frequently asked questions

The SIM will be sent to you within 3 to 5 working days. If you’re upgrading with us, the offer will take effect from your next billing cycle.

Your new phone and SIM should arrive the next working day if the order is placed before 20:00. Orders placed after 20:00 will be delivered in 2 working days.

Deliveries take place between 09:00-18:00, but we don’t deliver on weekends or bank holidays. You can also have your device delivered to a Three store if you prefer.

The discount will stay active until you cancel, upgrade or change to another price plan that isn’t part of a Friends and Family offer.

And don’t worry - if your friend or family member leaves their organisation, any discount codes that they’ve already provided will remain active.

Of course. Simply contact us and ask to move it to your new Friends and Family account.

Just remember to use up your minutes, texts and data before transferring your number – otherwise you may lose some of your allowance.

Absolutely. If you’re already with us on a Pay Monthly phone plan, you can upgrade to a new device or take up another phone by calling our dedicated Friends and Family team on 0333 338 1074. You can also visit a Three store.

Friends and family plans aren’t compatible with any other existing discounts, so these will drop off when you upgrade to a Friends and Family plan.

Friends and family offers can’t be combined with any other promotion. All discounts will be applied to the standard price.

Yes. Normal rules apply, so you’ll need to give 30 days’ notice.

For 24-month iPhone and Samsung plans, an early termination fee may be applicable if you’re cancelling before the minimum term is up.

Remember that if you leave a Friends and Family plan, you’ll need a new code to join again.

Yes, you need a fresh Friends and Family code when taking a new offer. That’s true for moving from SIM Only to a phone plan and vice versa.
