About SIMs from Three
If you already have a 4G or 5G device, like a phone, tablet or dongle, you can get a SIM with us. You can use a Three SIM in any unlocked 4G or 5G phone, tablet or dongle.
We offer 1 month rolling, 12 month and 24 month contracts for phones and Mobile Broadband devices. You can get Pay Monthly and Pay As You Go SIMs. We offer plans for all different sizes of SIM and you can order a free Pay As You Go SIM card directly on our website.
If you have a phone that you didn't get from us and you want to use it with a Three SIM, you'll need to:
You might need to activate your new Three SIM to use it on our network:
- If you're new to Three, and you bought your contract from somewhere other than a Three store or three.co.uk, or it wasn’t activated when you received it. Find out how to activate your SIM on our network.
- If you're already on Three but you're upgrading to a different sized SIM. Find out how to activate your SIM here.
- If you’ve opted for an eSIM, head over to eSIM support to get started.
If you're using a device that you didn't get from Three, you may not have the right sized SIM for your device to work. If that’s the case and you’re a Pay Monthly customer, you can order a replacement online. If you’re a Pay As You Go customer, you can visit a Three Store or contact us to order a replacement SIM.
Remember, you can use your phone SIM in other devices like tablets if you like. You’ll just need a compatible device that isn’t locked to another network.
Don’t worry if your SIM doesn’t fit; we can send you a new one.
