Thanks for joining us. Here’s everything you need to know about your new account. From getting set up to buying Data Packs.  

Getting started

Insert your SIM

We’ll send you a text with your number and some other important details. 

If you’ve got an eSIM, check our eSIM support page for activation steps.  

Download the Three app

Manage your account and track your allowances with the Three app. Plus, it’s a quick and easy way to top up or buy a Data Pack.

Get a Data Pack or Top-up

You’ll need a Data Pack or Top-up to start using your SIM. 

If you’ve bought your SIM with a pre-loaded Data Pack or Top-up, it’ll be ready to use straight away. If not, you can top up online or on the Three app.

Adding data

Data Packs

Make your money go further. Choose as much monthly data as you want and get unlimited minutes and texts included. And with Auto-renew Data Packs, get the same amount of data every month, save 10%, and get up to 50GB extra data. 

You can only have one active Data Pack at a time. If you run out and need a boost, you can top up or buy an Add-on.

Three app

  1. Log into the Three app
  2. From the Home or Buy tab, tap Data Packs – this will only show if you don’t have an active Data Pack 
  3. Pick the one-off or Auto-renew Data Pack you’d like and Add to basket
  4. Choose how you’d like to pay – by card or using your available credit

My3

  1. Log into My3
  2. Tap Buy a Data Pack or Manage Add-ons from your dashboard
  3. Pick the one-off or Auto-renew Data Pack you’d like and Add to basket
  4. Choose how you’d like to pay – by card or using your available credit

Call 444

If you’re a phone customer, you can buy a Data Pack by calling 444 free from your Three phone. 

Add-ons

If you have an active Data Pack but need some extra data, get a short-term fix with an Add-on. Pick the amount you need and how long you need it for. Buy online, on the Three app or My3, or call 444.

Three app

  1. Log into the Three app
  2. From the Home or Buy tab, tap Add-ons  – this will only show if you have an active Data Pack 
  3. Tap Data Add-ons or International
  4. Pick the Add-on you’d like and Add to basket
  5. Choose how you’d like to pay – by card or using your available credit

My3

  1. Log into My3 
  2. Tap Manage Add-ons from your dashboard
  3. Select Data Add-ons or International 
  4. Pick the Add-on you’d like and Add to basket
  5. Choose how you’d like to pay – by card or using your available credit

Call 444

If you’re a phone customer, you buy an Add-on by calling 444 free from your Three phone. 

Top-up

Top-ups let you call, text, and browse without commitment. Buy credit, then use it how and when you like on our 10p a minute, 10p a text, and 5p a MB rates.

Three app

  1. Log into the Three app
  2. From the Home or Buy tab, tap Top up 
  3. Choose the amount you’d like to top up and how to pay

My3

  1. Log into My3
  2. Tap Top up on your dashboard
  3. Choose the amount you’d like to top up then follow the on-screen steps

Call 444

If you’re a phone customer, you can top up by calling 444 free from your Three phone.

Auto Top-up 

Three app

  1. Log into the Three app
  2. From the Home or Buy tab, tap Set up Auto Top-up 
  3. Schedule your Top-up to be added monthly, weekly or when a minimum credit balance is reached and when you’d like it to start
  4. Choose how much you’d like to top up and your payment details

My3

  1. Log into My3
  2. Tap Auto Top-up on your dashboard
  3. Schedule your Top-up to be added monthly, weekly or when a minimum credit balance is reached and when you’d like it to start
  4. Choose how much you’d like to top up and your payment details

Topping up without logging in

Want to top up without logging in or need to top up someone else’s Pay As You Go account for them? You can top up online quickly and easily.

Topping up abroad

If you’re abroad, you can top up using the Three app, My3 or online. But remember, you can’t buy a Top-up voucher in stores abroad.

If you’re in a Go Roam destination, you’ll be charged at our standard rates. You can use any Data Packs or Add-ons in any Go Roam in Europe or Go Roam Around the World destinations.

We automatically protect all customers from accessing age-restricted sites, but switching this filter off is easy.

Bring your number to Three 

Already given us your PAC? Your number will be moved on the date you’ve chosen. Don’t forget your SIM must be active for this to happen. Activating your SIM is easy – just put it into your device, and that’s it.
